About us
Why we do what we do
I’ve always loved the sea, I’m happiest when I’m in or around water. I’ve always buzzed after being in the sea but only connected it to the effects of cold-water swimming when I started winter skins swimming in 2018. There’s a whole list of benefits to health & mental health, some of which are only just being discovered.
I’m a volunteer Water Safety Officer for the RNLI and a support worker at Mind Pembrokeshire and have run a beach lifesaving & water safety club since 2007.
My life for the last 20+ years has been exploring Pembrokeshire’s beaches and coastline with my family & friends. We enjoy boating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, kayaking, coasteering, swimming, snorkelling and generally having fun on Pembrokeshire’s many beaches & coves.
After teaching & coaching swimming & lifesaving in pools for over 25yrs, I decided to help more people discover the numerous benefits of cold water swimming.

I’m a lifelong sea lover. I’ve always buzzed after being in the sea but only connected it to the effects of cold-water swimming when I started winter skins swimming 3yrs ago. It’s a natural high that lasts for hours. I am also the volunteer Water Safety Officer at Little & Broad Haven Lifeboat

I love surfing, coasteering and everything to do with the sea but am usually happiest in a wetsuit in the colder months!
